Ontology Application in Animal Genetic Resources

摘要：

With the development of Internet technology and genetic engineering techniques, generated a large number of animal genetic resources. Organizations and the integration of massive animal genetic resources are the bottleneck of the current study. Ontology is a declarative description of logical theory. Ontology has a unique advantage when resolving the organization and management of animal genetic resources. This article summarized the status of animal genetic resources in China, supplied a set of ontology construction method suit for animal genetic resources, designed the management framework of animal genetic resources base on ontology and constructed animal genetic resources ontology model.
