Study of Claim Identification Model in International Project Based on Process Control Ideology
This paper tends to explore the issues relevant to contractors claims opportunity identification. According to the condition of construction in FID1C 1999, a process control-based model is presented in which the claims risk analysis, contract state analysis, event analysis, schedule analysis and cost analysis were combined in conjunction with the system of identifying claim opportunities at contract signing stage, construction stage and completion stage. The model is useful to improve the efficiency of contractors claim disposal, and keep contractor from missing the best timing of claim.
