An Analysis Method for Robustness of Mechanical Process Scheme Based on VMEA and TRIZ
A technical framework which is based on Variation Mode and Effect Analysis (VMEA) and Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ) for analyzing the variations or couplings exist in process scheme is presented firstly.Through the usage of VMEA method, an approach is proposed to detect the latent variations and couplings of process system, with the aim of reducing the variations of process system and improving the robustness and quality of process system. The key variations in process system will be identified by the rank of Variation Risk Priority Number (VRPN) which is calculated in a fuzzy perspective. Then use TRIZ theory to analysis the key variations or couplings and find the feasible solutions to solve them. Finally, a case study about a process scheme of a mechanical product is given to validate the correction of this method.
