Assessing Supply Chain Performance Based on Problem Discovery and Analysis
Although great achievements have been made in the study of supply-chain performance measurement (SCPM), there are still lots of disputes and pronounced criticisms about current researches. In order to shed light on these problems, especially for these problems which fail to consider strategies or fail to give sufficient consideration of implementation costs of SCPM, we summarize researches on conceptual models of SCPM in this paper. With these conceptual models as useful tools to locate problems and seek right solutions, we propose assessing supply chain performance from the perspective of strategies, tactics and operations in order to align SCPM with strategies and using the idea of problem discovery and analysis in order to save the implementation costs of SCPM.
