OBJECT-ORIENTED IPV4/IPV6 DISTRIBUTED NETWORK MANAGEMENT MODEL
With the rapid development of network technology, the traditional centralized network management can’t meet the needs of network management any more. So network management will evolve from centralized model, where all the management functions take place on a single network management station, to distributed models where management functions are distributed over a large number of nodes. In this paper, we analyze the deficiency of traditional SNMP model and discuss the potential uses of object-oriented technology in network management. In this condition we propose an IPv4/IPv6 object-oriented distributed network management system based on twisted network programming framework. 1
