Public Key Encryption For Online Voting
Electronic Voting or online voting is the cornerstone of e-governance, since this stage assures the authenticity of a sovereigns popularity in an indisputable manner. But merging an information system with real-life problem has never been an easy task. And the fact that the scope can be upto a whole countrys people does not help either. Due to the scope and the precision requirements of this approach, the method must be infallible. To satisfy the zero-tolerance condition the information systems implementation needs to handle lots of technical details. These details are mainly focused on two factors: integrity of votes and privacy of voter. In this paper an approach to satisfy both of them using public key is discussed. The boundary of this paper can be pushed forward by evaluating the possible threats of this specifications and offering solution to them.
