Influences of TiH2 Heat Treatment on Stability of Foam Aluminum
In this paper influences of Til-l, heat treatment on stability of foam aluminum were studied. The experiment indicated an oxide film with appropriate thickness can be formed on the surface layer of Til-l, powders after heat treatment in 450 -500℃; In foaming process, because of the existence of oxide film, Hzwas released in a quite centralized time with an even speed, the froth body grows stably. In this condition lowest density of foam aluminum material achieved O. 35g1cm3. High quality foam aluminum with low density, high porosity, thinner pore walls, equably distributing and perfect growth of foam can be obtAlned.
