Research and Application of Lost Foam Iron Casting in Engine Cylinder Head & Block
By means of prototype making, small-scale & large quantities production assemble application, green molding lost foam casting technology of engine grey-iron exhaust pipe, cylinder head, cylinder block has been determined. The exhaust pipe & cylinder head Linked up new technology has been explored in view of the above- mentioned. The weight of a set of engine is reduced 19.0 kg than ordinary sand mould foundry. Furthermore, oil consumption index cut down on 1. 5 gI(kW ?h) , tAll gas exhausting temperature 9℃ and smoke degree O. 1 FSN in the condition of twisting force and tAll gas exhausting temperature 19℃; smoke degree 0.2 FSN in the condition of demarcate power. As it should be, this article also points out a series of question: casting deform,casting sand stick & casting leakage and put forward some solutions.
