The Technical Progress of V-Process Casting in China

Chinese technical progress of V-process casting was rapid, which was reflected below: The technology of producing special plastic film (EVA film) for V-process developed rapidly and the standardization and seriation of production was achieved which almost satisfied national demands. In China there are blowing inflation process and chilled roll process for producing EVA films. the EVA films produced by blow inflation process, among which S.6 meters is the widest, can satisfy the demands of producing castings of large or deep molding; chilled roll process can produce ultra films, among which 0.04-0. OS millimeters is the thinnest. The draw ratio of O. OS millimeters can be 1:1. 1; The technology of optimizing vacuum pump and energy saving has got breakthrough progress. It is the automation between high pressure and low pressure of desired vacuum during production which achieved intelligent management between electric motor and electric net that make vacuum pump consume the least energy during production, thereby ,to implement energy saving, of which the amount is over 30 percent. Along with the market demands enlargement, the production of steel castings is very mature. As typical steel casting of V-process there are bolster side bearer and hooker for use of rAllway, rear axle housing for use of load-carrying vehicle and hard wearing high manganese steel casting for use of mining machinery.
