Casting Lifecycle Management Model for the Multi-variety & Small-Batch Type of Foundry Enterprises
In China, foundry enterprises have a more and more focus on informatization, relying on modern management methods and computer network technology to regulate corporate governance, liberate management personnel and improve informatization level, and therefore the study on foundry enterprise informatization is particularly important. Nowadays, the major production mode is characterized by multi-variety and small-batch, which makes the production process more complex and changeable and management issues more prominent. Based on it, this paper analyzes Chinese and international status quo and methods of casting production management, and a set of Casting Lifecycle Management (ClM) production management model is proposed firstly. This model can not only precisely control the whole process of a single casting, including the development, production plan, production acceptance check, delivery and after-sales service, but also monitor the operational status and the entire production process of a piece, what is more, it can eliminate some defects in hand or batch management. Then, a foundry enterprise production management system is developed using the ClM model in this paper. In the end, this paper cites a successful practical application case with a hope to provide a valuable reference for foundry enterprise production management.
