Dyeuptake of PET compounded with boltorn h40 as a nanomaterial
INTRODUCTION During the past 15 years, dendritic polymers as nanomaterials have received much attention due to their unique chemical and physical properties as well as their potential applications in coatings, additives, drug and gene delivery, macromolecular building blocks, nanotechnology, and supramolecular science 1.PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) fibres are the most important synthetic textile fibres due to annual world demand as well as in terms of end uses. Polyester fibres as hydrophobic polymers with a very dense structure are difficult materials to dyeing and printing 2. PET fibres and fabrics have been dyed with disperse dyes for many years.
