COMPOSITES FILLED WITH METAL-BASED NANOPARTICLES:SYNTHESIS AND STUDY
Our work is devoted to synthesis of metal-filled heat-conducting dielectric with Al-core nanoparticulate filler and superhigh molecular weight polyethylene (SMPE) using polymerization-filling approach, and study of their mechanical, electric- and thermo- physic characteristics.Synthesis of metal-filled nanocomposites. Ie. Materials as organic (polyolifin) matrix with uniformly distributed isolated nanosized particles of metals (metal compounds). Requires the solution of at least two complex interdependent tasks: development of a technique for introduction and uniform distribution of nanoparticles inside the matrix. And provision of high adhesion between the particles surfaces and matrix material. Commonly used for introduction of micron-size particles into polymer matrix technique of mechanical mixing is often inapplicable for manufacturing of nanocomposites. Because nanoparticles form strong agglomerates of some microns in size, which are practically unbreakable in their mixing with matrix (is melt). The technique of polymerization filling was use to obey the requirements of uniform particle distribution 1.
