A review of the nanoindentation techniques application in the study of composite materials at the nano-scale
(0) INTRODUCTION Composite materials are composed of a class of complex multiphase systems and anisotropic materials in the microstructure. The mechanical behavior of composite materials are closely related not only with that of the different compositions but also with that of the matrix and the reinforcement and the interface between the matrix and the reinforcement. Therefore, there is a very important practical significance to study the mechanical behavior of the matrix and the reinforcement and the interface between them in the microstructure.
