Poly (vinyl alcohol) hybrid thin films containing graphene, montmorillonite and layered double hydroxide fabricated via layer-by-layer assembly
INTRODUCTION Layered nanoparticles, such as layered double hydroxides (LDH), montmorillonite (MMT) and graphene (G) have received much attention for their unique properties. Layered double hydroxides (LDH), also known as anionic or hydrotalcite-like clays, are generally expressed as M2+1-xM3+x (OH)2An-x/n·mH2O. The layered structure and the anion-exchange properties of LDH make them attractive because of their potential applications in the fields of catalysis, separation, sensors and polymer nanomaterials 1-2.
