The preparation of nanocomposite hydrogels and properties adjustment
INTRODUCTION Nanocomposite hydrogels (NC gels) composed of organic polymers and inorganic nanoparticles are a kind of novel hydrogels which crosslinked by clay platelets without organic crosslinkers.1 NC gels exhibit extraordinary good mechanical properties, superb swelling properties and excellent optical properties which simultaneously solve almost all the disadvantage of OR gels.2 Over the past several years the structure of NC gels have been studied to achieve controllable structure and properties.
