The orientation of radical grafting carbon nanotubes in polypropylene

INTRODUCTION Polypropylene (PP) is one of the most widely used commercial polymers with many desirable and beneficial physical properties. Polymer nanocomposites containing carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have attracted much attention due to the excellent mechanical, electrical and thermal properties of CNTs. For preparing PP/CNTs composites, the simple melt compounding is often difficult to achieve good results because CNTs tend to form agglomerates during processing of composites.
