INTRODUCTION PET (polyethylene terephthalate) by having good physical and mechanical properties has been used worldwide for the production of synthetic fibers and has the generic name of polyester. Its undesirable properties are low moisture regain and poor dyeability due to high glass transition temperature, and poor processability due to high melting temperature 1,2.
