Preparation of Block Copolymer/Metal Hybrids and Dispersion in Polymer Matrix

INTRODUCTION Organic-inorganic hybrids are the attractive materials that would have flexibility and processability of organic materials in addition to the useful features of organic materials. Especially in the case of using metals as inorganic components, the prominent features of metals such as electronic, magnetic, and optical properties could be built in those materials1. In this study, we demonstrate a simple procedure to obtain block copolymer/metal hybrids and study their dispersion in polymer matrix. The composites exhibit significant magnetic properties as the presence of metal nanoparticles.
