Preparation of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene nanocomposite with natural clinoptilolite and investigation of its mechanical properties

INTRODUCTION In recent years there has been intense interest in polymer nanocomposites because of their significantly enhanced physical, mechanical and thermal properties even at lower additive loadings 1. Zeolites are crystalline aluminosilicates with a 3-dimensional open anion framework consisting of oxygen-sharing TO4 tetrahedral structure where T is Si or Al. Clinoptilolite is one of the most commonly used natural zeolites 2.
