Synthesis of nano-size carbon materials using nylon-6/clay nanocomposites

INTRODUCTION Carbon materials find many uses and add lots of highlights to the modern day life. Especially in recent years, nano-size carbon structure (fullerenes, carbon nanofibers and carbon nanotubes) discovered successively makes the carbon materials more and more important and promising due to their important applications. A wide variety of methods have been developed for the synthesis of nano-size carbon materias1-3, while it is till very difficult to realize the controllability of the structure and shape of nano-size carbon materials.
