The form of the intact peptides devised from diet proteins
Background: The intact peptides in plasma may be classified as diet intact peptides (DIP) and endogenesis intact peptides (EIP), which are devised from the diet proteins and endogenesis proteins respectively. DIPs may be transported into plasma by the specific transporters through an independent channel. The EIPs may also be found in plasma where there is negligible clearance of peptides from plasma by erythrocytes (Gilbert et al. 2008). It is worthy to note that DIPs may not be same as the EIPs because DIPs must be these peptides which are the unhydrolyzed peptides when diet proteins pass through stomach and small intestine, then each DIP must have no the strong hydrophilic residuals.
