In traditional Chinese veterinary medicine (TCVM), clinical disorders of the respiratory system can be classified into four major patterns (Bian Zheng): allergy heat, Lung Yin deficiency, Lung Qi deficiency, and Lung/Kidney Qi deficiency. The differences in clinical manifestations of each pattern can be found in any TCVM book and will not be reviewed here.
