STUDIES ON ANTIMICROBIAL QUANTITATIVE STRUCTURE-ACTIVITY RELATIONSHIP OF DITERPENE QUINONE COMPOUND FROM SAL VIA PRZEWALSKII MAXIM WITH HANSCH AND FREE-WILSON

The antimicrobial quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) of 23 diterpene quinones against Staphylococcus aureus and their derivatives related activity was studied with Hansch combined with FreeWilson. The QSAR equation was established using multiple regression statistics. The results show that the dihydrofuran ring and the O-quinone structure is characteristic group or effective parts anti- Staphylococcus aureus, there are some correlations between lipid-water partition coefficient and the antibacterial activity.
