QCA and Nanotechnology Based Cancer Inhibition System

Cancer is one of the most critical medical emergencies, and prevention of tumor cell multiplication has always been a great challenge. Present day technology to cure cancer such as chemotherapy using Gamma Rays and Laser Endoscopy have several risks involved in them. These techniques have high probability of destroying the healthy tissue cells while treating the tumor cells. Nanotechnology, the promising technology of the 21st century can come as a path breaking technology to prevent tumor cells from growing. We have designed a new device that can target the tumor cells and destroy only them and safeguard the healthy cells. In this paper we have used a QCA based controller on the biocompatible silicon wafer. The periphery of the silicon wafer consists of antibodies which function as biosensor. Intelligence will be imparted to the biosensor to activate the Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Quantum Dot Laser VCSEQDLaser and destroy tumor cells and prevent them from multiplication. control.
