Deconvolution of the Impulse Response of Rough Ground
The impulse response of rough ground was obtained in this paper. To establish the simulation model of rough ground backscattering, the dielectric mixing model of soil and one-dimension Gaussian randomly rough surface mathematics model were presented. Based on the dielectric constant of sandy loam and numerical simulation result of Gaussian randomly rough surface, the finite integration time domain method was utilized to calculate the backscattered waveform from rough ground. Using incident and backscattered waveforms, the conjugate gradient method was applied to determine the impulse response of rough ground in the time domain. The simulation results show that the proposed simulation model and deconvolution method are feasible for determining the impulse response of rough ground.
