Optimal Assembly Tolerance Design Based On Fuzzy Information Entropy and Seeker Optimization Algorithm

The design of assembly tolerance is directly related to the product quality and product manufacturing cost. In order to carry out a reasonable distribution of the assembly tolerance, this paper considers synthetically the product quality loss and product processing cost. The fuzzy weight of the quality loss and product processing cost is calculated based on fuzzy number. Meanwhile, the weight of experts is determined by information entropy in order to decrease the subjective arbitrariness of experts. Finally, seeker optimization algorithm is used to solve the problem of assembly tolerance distribution. This method is tested on a certain type of aircraft component, and the result shows its practicality.
