The Rule of Five for the Cities Competitive Strategies Positioning

The Research shows there is a linear relationship between GDP share(GDPS) and personal average GDP (PGDP) of Cities in the provinces, the Formulae is GDPS=2.618PGDP. This papers also presents the Rule of Five for City Competitive Strategies positioning in China, which is similar with the Rule of Three. The Rule of Five point out that the accumulated GDP share of top five cities in the provinces in China are respectively 20%/40%/50%/60%/70%, GDPS of both the first and the second biggest cities are close to 25% and 18%,they are equalizing the top 3 companies in the industrial field described by the Rule of Three, Other Top 3 cities GDP shares are close to 10%/8%/6%,they are expert cities matching with Expert Companies in industries fields.
