Speeding up the Regional Economic and Industrial Development in Cooperation with Three Economic Circles-Research on the Development in Shanxi, Shaanxi and Inner Mongolia from the Perspective of Regional Economic Cooperation
Regional economy is the prominent supporting power of the economic development of every country and that of the whole world. As a dominant developing country, based on the strategy of developing coastal areas in 1980s and the large-scale development strategy for the central and western regions in the end of 1990s, China issued the policy of speeding up the transfer of industries away from eastern costal areas and towards central and western areas, which further enhances the depth and width of regional economy and plays an active role in promoting coordinate regional development. Promoted by the developing chance and guided by advantageous policies, this paper puts forward the tentative conception of the 3+3 Pattern—the cooperation between the three provinces of Shanxi, Shaanxi and Inner Mongolia and Chinas three economic circles, and probes into the way of developing regional economic cooperation in accordance with the practical situation in this region. Meanwhile, the paper analyzes the approach of the pattern, proposes suggestions on policy and offers a flourishing long-term developing prospect.
