The Construction of External Operational Risk Loss Database of Chinese Commercial Banks

This paper summarizes the current operational risk management of commercial banks, then discusses the necessity and significance of establishing operational risk losses database of Chinese commercial banks, summarizes the types of operational risk loss database from the perspective of the international banks, discusses the collection and dealing with internal and external loss data, establishes a preliminary external operational risk loss database for Chinese commercial banks, demonstrates the construction on the operational risk loss database of operation of Chinese commercial banks.
