Research of Distributed Parallel Information Retrieval Based on JPPF

摘要：

Introduces distributed parallel method into information retrieval area. Takes information retrieval system based on database as an example, and proposes a distributed parallel retrieval strategy using java parallel processing framework JPPF. Some retrieval experiments building on MS SQL Server 2000 have been done by using the system. The experiment results have demonstrated that the distributed parallel computing techniques can be applied to significantly improve the performance of retrieval system.
