A Defense Model Study Based on IDS and Firewall Linkage

In the face of many network security problems, the firewall and intrusion detection systems have been powerless. Current network security model of a hot spot is to the advantage of two fully integrated. This paper discusses an intrusion detection system and firewall defenses linkage model. Then we discussed combination of both methods and advantages step by step, give a linkage defense model, give a specific model diagram and explain and demonstrate.
