Modeling relaxation-to-creep transition of domain-wall motion in ultrathin ferromagnetic and ferroelectric films
Monte Carlo simulations of a two-dimensional, randomfield Isirig model with an ac driving field arc used to study the relaxntion-to-creep transition for domain-wall motion in ultralhin ferromagnetic and ferroelectric films at low temperatures. The resultant complex. susceptibility x=x -ix agrees well with experiment: The flattened semicircle and straight line in the x-x plot are Cole-Cole signatures of relaxation and creep states, respectively. The exponent β describing the creep motion is measured, and an intermediate state between the relaxation aud creep states is identified.
