A Discussion on the Application of Label Strategy in Motivation Management of SMEs
Label strategy serves as another means of incentive management where employees are praised consciously or unconsciously with compatible sentiment and promoting attraction. We believe that, during the initial period of SME development when managerial systems are still incomplete and not fullfledged, label strategy can be introduced as an important method to enhance employees confidence and help with solidarity for a common purpose. Centering on how the label strategy is applied to SMEs, this paper, sticking to nominative method, will conduct a preliminary discussion on the functions, application method and issues worth attention when the label strategy is applied to SME management. Weve concluded that, to sustain the effect of label strategy, enterprise leaders must establish their philosophy of emotional capital, practice what they preach, be active in discovering and fully acknowledge merits and strengths of employees and arouse their enthusiasm. Whats more, label strategy should be taken not on ly as a means of motivation during SME operation and management, but as an indispensable part of enterprise culture.
