The Empirical Study on Interactions between Environmental Activities and Eco-performances
The previous empirical studies are predominantly based on the deductive approaches to study the negative & positive impacts of environment on economic performance. This paper introduces the induction approach to study the interactive relationships among environmental activities, environmental and economic performances with the aim to get a general theoretical model. The research questionnaire & survey are designed and conducted in China enterprises. The relationships among enterprise management pressure & driving force, enterprise management practice, environmental and economic performance, are examined & discussed in this empirical study. Based on the empirical study and strategic management, the theoretical concept model is derived and generalized as a multiple-input-multiple-output system. The findings of this study & the reasoning may explain that recent strong China government actions have shown much positive influence on company management practices while environment pressure & driving force are leading indicators.
