Study of negative polarizability phenomenon due to using induced polarization method in saline-alkali area
When we work in the use of induced polarization method, the strength of secondary field signal of the underground body plays a decisive role in the observations. In different geological background, the impact factors are also different. Using the induced polarization method under the conditions of large power-supply polar distance and saline-alkali area will product negative polarizability phenomenon.we analyze the mechanism of negative polarizability phenomenon. With the power pole distance increasing (power supply limited) resulting in a diminished primary field (Artificial current primary field) conditions, we reaserch relative changes in the law of the effective polarization of secondary field (induced polarization field) strength and interference signal strength. we also explore the reason of stabilizing negative polarizability abnormalities under conditions of the particular small-signal and low resistance of subsurface. Besides,we give a method to Suppression of interfering factors, improving the effective signal components when the negative polarizability phenomenon happens.
