Application research of GPR technology in the governance project of the shaft wall in coal mine
Development of the shaft wall fissures can seriously damage the integrity of the inner wall in coal mine, which results in very poor water-retaining capacity and at last leads to the rupture of the wall, it also brings about serious security risks for the coal production. In order to control shaft rupture effectively and reduce the incidence of coal mine hydrogeology disasters, in this paper we described the work of the governance project of the shaft wall rupture using ground penetrating radar (GPR) method, and taken a main shaft wall as an example, we could accurately detect the distribution of the shaft wall rupture and development of the fissures using high-frequency electromagnetic wave reflection technology, and it could provide some base data for further comprehensive control. The result showed this method had a good effect in governance of the shaft wall rupture, meanwhile provided technical support for safe production in coal mines.
