Application research of hyperspectral-remote-sensing to vegetation coverage rate parameter acquisition
Both carrying the research of Asian Catastrophe Comprehensive Risk Assessment (ACCRA) and establishing the ACCRA demonstration system are key compound techniques to our government to commit and carry out 〈 Comprehensive national disaster reduction Eleventh Five-Year Plan〉 project of Asian Regional Research Center for Catastrophe (ARRCC). They are also the most important scientific and technological support to the diplomatic strategy of disaster reduction in our country. Regional vegetation coverage is an important indicator and a main factor to the evaluation model of regional disaster reduction ability. This paper is to introduce themethod of quantitative estimates of vegetation coverage by using Hyperspectral-Remote-Sensing technique.
