The hazard zonation and early warning of the Bejing mountain area debris flow
The using of GIS technology to decision the debris flow, can be superimposed for multi-source data analysis with less manpower and resources to achieve the desired results which can provides two kinds of data including tables and graphics. Use of a GIS model with a statistical and spatial analysis approach ensures an interactive relationship between debris flows and their causal factors. In particular, analyzing the relationship between debris flows and the various causative factors provides new understanding of the mechanisms. This paper implemented debris flow decision-making system which is based on GIS technology, component-based development of technology, computer data on debris flow, feasibility analysis, decision-making and various enquiries etc. In this paper, we took Beijing mountain area for study. The system is applied to an integrated development model. It implemented secondary development which is based on ARCGIS Engine and is in the circumstance of VB6.0. With the aid of the system, we can get the following conclusion: the debris flow disasters of Beijing mountain area mainly happened in the region of geological fault and with the slope of bigger than 35°.The conclusion of the paper can provide a scientific basis for the alert of the debris flow.
