Calculation method of hydrogeological parameters by using logging data
Various borehole geophysical methods for studying the nature and characteristics of ground water are collectively referred to as hydro-geophysical logging (Hydro-logging). Hydro-logging is an important part of the hydrological exploration works, and necessary for all the drilling with the hydro-geological purpose, particularly non-core drilling. To determine hydro-geologic parameters (including aquifer parameters) is one of the main tasks of hydrologic logging. The aquifer parameters include: clay content, porosity, permeability, salinity, water content, etc., and the aquifer includes: porosity type, fracture type, cave-type aquifers, etc. This paper mainly aims to describe the porosity aquifer parameters calculation method by using logging data. An example (the calculation results of porosity aquifer parameters in an area) shows that the methods in mis paper can be preferably used for using hydro-logging data to calculate hydrological parameters.
