Study on geophysical methods in mine geological environmental assessment
The contradiction between the economic development and environmental protection is very sharp in Chinas modernization, and we must implement a comprehensive balanced approach in the economic and social development. Environmental quality assessment is one of the effective measures to enable the coordinated development of the economy and the environment, and its important to Chinas environmental protection. With increasing emphasis on environmental issues and mine safety, important process has been made in mine geological environment evaluation. Not only has the mine geological environment evaluation played an important role, but also laid the foundation for gradually maturing of risk assessment of geological disasters. And provide basis to government decision-making and project construction.As an important technology of geological survey, geophysics can provide a wide range of physical parameters of geological body, and has advantages of fast, low cost and destruction to the geological environment. Geophysics provides higher accuracy data to mine geological environment evaluation, which can help to improve the quality of environment evaluation, and it is widely used in environmental geological survey, evaluation and research.Geophysics is widely used in environmental geological survey and related fields. This article briefly introduced the role and the application effect of geophysics in mine geological environment evaluation. Results of research work may provide some reference to the mining environmental assessment.
