The application of seismic geomorphology on interpretation for seismic data

Seismic geomorphology is a new cross-disciplinary science, which is an important component of seismic sedimentology. It is a discipline that, on basis of seismic, is to study paleogeomorphic and distribution of sedimentary fades. 90-degree phase conversion, frequency-division interpretation, isochronal stratal slicing, extracting seismic attribute in isochronal sediment units are key technology of Seismic geomorphology. Studied intervals in the study area is located in the Tectonic of Daqing placanticline in central depression of Songliao Basin, the layer of FuYu reservoir is the main deposition of delta front distributary channel, chanel diversions and swing constant migration, sedimentary almost short banded and lenticular; meanwhile, distributary channel interweave reticular, so that sand bodies connect with each other as mesh in the plane, and vertically show the thin interbedded with mudstone. The reservoir changes fast in the horizon and its non-homogeneous is strong. For the reasons given above, using conventional single technology exists a certain difficulties to predict for chanel sand of low-permeability thin layer. For that, this article takes the seismic geomorphology as guidance, and effectively predict the development area in the main river.
