Study on Application of Selective Encouragement Theory on Decision-making Mechanism of Effective Public Participation in Large Projects

摘要：

Based on the theory of encouragement and collective action, this thesis makes an in-depth study on the reason why currently public participation mechanism of the large public construction projects in China is lack of effectiveness, builds a model of encouragement on public participation using the selective encouragement theory and, discusses how to improve the decision-making mechanism of effective public participation in large public construction projects at home under new situation.
