An Interpretation of the Tourism Value Chain
Through clarifying the concept of tourism product and analyzing the particularities decided by the process of producing, delivering and consuming of tourism product, this essay projects a value chain of tourism, in the hope of developing a conceptual tool for the strategic analysis of tourism enterprises to achieve and sustain competitive advantage, for the policy analysis of tourism administrative departments to guide for a healthy development of tourism, and even for the legislative analysis in the determination of behavioral boundaries of various actors in tourism.
