Research on the Rational Population Carrying Capacity and Relevant Policy of a Region--Take Beilun Area of Ningbo as an example
For the benign development of a region, a rational scale of population is an important element. Objectively, there is a rational population carrying capacity to maintain the regional economic development, social condition, resource consumption and environment in an appropriate status. The authors analyze the carrying capacity index of Beilun Area and then use Possibility-Satisfiability model for multi-object decision. Several schemes of the population carrying capacity are demonstrated by this method. This research has a certain degree of theoretical value and practical meaning on generating the regional population policy and development planning.
