Sustainability reporting in construction companies: An Australian Study
Over the past decade there has been an increasing level of attention to reporting on sustainability in construction. Various sustainability reporting systems have been developed to assist organizations to report their commitments and achievements in terms of sustainability. In Australia, an increasing number of organizations have adopted sustainability reporting practices albeit with mixed outcomes. This paper uses a case study approach to investigate sustainability reporting in Australian construction. The results show that sustainability reporting is limited and the clarity of reporting can be improved. Other limitations are also discussed.
