Inventory Management Strategy of Production Materials in a Coal Production Enterprise Based on ABC-fuzzy Classification

摘要：

This paper introduce a planer inventory control approach which can combine ABC classification and fuzzy classification by acquisition the grade of membership. The grade of membership is gained by generating the membership function of independent and dependent attributes step by step. This method can handle variables with either nominal or non-nominal attributes. It can incorporate other evaluation criteria to classify the inventory items based on traditional single measurement. The approach is implemented based on the production materials in a coal production enterprise. The paper shows the result of classification, and some suggestions are proposed.
