Complex Product Design Models Based on Digital Design and Interorganizational Team
A systemized approach for complex product design is presented in response to the nature of complex product design which is characterized by multidisciplinary, cross-functional collaboration and high level of customization. Based on analysis of digital design and interorganizational teamwork, an integrated model is proposed combining the two. Finally, key factors in applying digital design and interorganizational teamwork are explored.
