Management of Safety Maintenance for Road Intersections
In order to improve safety maintenance quality of road intersection facilities, and then enhance traffic safety performance of road intersections, road facilities in the intersection function areas were classified, evaluation index of safety maintenance was established, and evaluation system of safety maintenance was developed for road intersections. Evaluation models of safety maintenance for road intersection were developed, and weight values in evaluation models were determined. Approach of data collection was given. Safety maintenance quality of road intersections was divided four levels, and corresponding level criterion was established. The evaluation methods of safety maintenance were applied in practice. Results of applications show the evaluation method of safety maintenance has good operability, and can effectively evaluate performance of safety maintenance for road intersections.
