Port Strategy in China: Supply Chain Management

摘要：

The development of global economy and the boost of Chinese international trade create a new opportunity for China to develop its port supply chains. So its of great significance to explore the solution to how to develop Chinese port supply chains. In this paper we structured the model for Chinese port supply chain system with a systemic view, argued that port supply chains in China should be upgraded dynamically to meet the requirements of international standards. To improve the development of Chinese port supply chain, we put forward the suggestions such as making comprehensive plans, avoiding bad competition, improving software and hardware conditions of ports, and organizing port logistics alliance.
