Research on Evaluation of Urban Human Settlements Quality Based on Principal Component Analysis

摘要：

Using the method of principal component analysis, 12 indicators have been chosen in this paper to evaluate the urban human settlements quality from the perspective of livable degree.Take 18 cities in Henan Province as an example, according to the statistical yearbook of Henan Province in the year 2008 and 2009, to analysis these cities human settlements quality status by using Excel and Minitab software. The results of the study are in line with the actual situation of the cities in Henan Province,which prove that the evaluation method and evaluation index system is feasible. Hereby we made some relevant policy recommendations for future development of Henan Province.
